Laurie E. Snellen

Laurie is an artist living in Murray, Kentucky and was born December of 1997. Laurie BFA in Printmaking at Murray State University. While she focuses in printmaking, she also has experience in drawing, bookbinding, painting, and photography. Her work primarily focuses on the interactions between the average person and the most sensitive, forgotten aspects of the natural world. She works to inspire people to make positive changes towards the world around them by connecting them to the world we all share. She was the head of the campus’s Printmaking Club and a member of the OMAS Club, and Photography Club. Recent notable exhibitions include the 2023 Annual OMAS exhibition and her solo BFA Exhibition: Exigency in the Clara M. Eagle Gallery.

Laurie graduated with a BFA in Printmaking and Art and Design in the Fall of 2023 and plans to begin working on a masters in printmaking Fall of 2025.
