About
Laurie is an artist currently based in Portland, Oregon. She was born and raised in Western Kentucky, where she got her undergraduate degree. While she focuses in printmaking, she also has experience in bookbinding, painting, and photography. Her work primarily focuses on the intersection between urban and natural spaces. She works to inspire people to make positive changes towards the world around them by connecting them to the world we all share. Recent notable exhibitions her joint First Year MFA Exhibition in the 157 Gallery at PNCA and her solo BFA Exhibition: Exigency in the Clara M. Eagle Gallery.Laurie graduated with a BFA in Printmaking and Art and Design in the Fall of 2023 and is currently a Graduate Student at Pacific Northwest College of the Arts in Portland, Oregon.
